Privacy Notice

This notice explains what Pudu Labs Consulting LLC ("Pudu Labs," "we," "us") collects when you use pudulabs.com, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and how to have it removed. It is written to be read, not to be survived.

1. The short version

  • We set no cookies and run no analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts.
  • Our typefaces are served from our own server, so no third party sees your visit.
  • The only personal information we hold is what you choose to send us through the contact form or by email.
  • We never sell, rent, or share that information for anyone else's marketing.

2. Who is responsible

Pudu Labs Consulting LLC, a management consulting firm based in Houston, Texas, USA, is the controller of the personal information described here. For any question about this notice, or to exercise any of the rights in section 8, write to contact@pudulabs.com.

3. What we collect, and why

Information you send us

When you submit the contact form we receive the name, email address, organization (if you provide one), and message you enter. We use this solely to read and respond to your enquiry, and to continue any correspondence that follows from it.

Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries about our services, and, where you are asking us to consider working together, the steps taken at your request before entering a contract.

Information collected automatically

When the contact form is submitted, our server records the submission time and the IP address it came from. This exists to stop automated abuse: the same record enforces a rate limit on repeated submissions from one address. It is a security measure, not a profile, and it is not used to identify or track you across the site.

Our hosting provider also keeps standard web server logs, which may include IP address, request time, requested page, and browser user-agent string. These are generated by the hosting infrastructure for reliability and security purposes.

What we do not collect

We do not use cookies, local storage, pixels, session recording, fingerprinting, advertising networks, or analytics of any kind. There is no consent banner on this site because there is nothing to consent to.

4. Fonts, and why they are hosted here

The Outfit typeface used across this site is served from our own server. It is not loaded from a third-party font service, so no external company receives your IP address or browser details when a page loads. This is a deliberate choice; font CDNs are a common and largely invisible source of data transfer, and we would rather not make one on your behalf.

5. Who else sees your information

Enquiries reach us by email through our hosting and mail providers, which process the message in transit and store it in our mailbox in the ordinary course of delivering that service. Beyond those providers we do not disclose your information to anyone, except where we are required to by law.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We have never done either.

6. How long we keep it

  • Enquiries and correspondence: kept while the conversation is live and for up to 24 months afterwards, then deleted, unless it has become part of a client engagement record.
  • Anti-abuse submission records: the IP address and timestamp attached to a form submission are retained for up to 90 days, then removed.
  • Rate-limiting data: discarded automatically within minutes of a submission.
  • Hosting server logs: retained according to our hosting provider's standard schedule, typically a matter of weeks.

You can ask us to delete your enquiry sooner at any time, and we will.

7. Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Form submissions are transmitted over an encrypted connection and delivered by authenticated mail. Access to the mailbox is restricted to the practice. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we do not claim otherwise, but we do not hold information we have no reason to hold.

8. Your rights

Wherever you are, you can ask us to:

  • tell you what personal information we hold about you;
  • give you a copy of it;
  • correct anything that is wrong;
  • delete it;
  • stop using it for a particular purpose.

Write to contact@pudulabs.com and we will respond within 30 days. We will not charge you, and we will not treat you differently for asking.

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, the GDPR gives you these rights along with the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests, the right to data portability, and the right to lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority. If you are a California resident, the CCPA and CPRA give you rights of access, deletion, correction, and the right to opt out of sale or sharing — noting that we do neither.

9. International transfers

Pudu Labs operates from the United States and our hosting is located there. If you contact us from outside the United States, the information you send will be transferred to and stored in the US. By sending an enquiry you are asking us to reply, and that reply requires this transfer.

10. Children

This site is intended for business audiences and is not directed at anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, write to us and we will delete it.

11. Third-party links

Pages on this site link to third-party sites, including LinkedIn. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which we do not control and are not responsible for. This notice covers only pudulabs.com.

12. Changes to this notice

If we change what we collect or what we do with it, we will update this page and change the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be described here rather than absorbed silently.
